Esperanza, a faith-based, bilingual, principal health care center, will use the award to determine a new wellness and health facility in the Hunting Park community.

Participants were enrolled between January 2009 and February 2011. Study staff recruited participants by way of presentations at research sites and received referrals from rehabilitation-program staff. Individual participants were assigned to the intervention or control group randomly. Randomization was stratified relating to sex and study site; assignments were generated in blocks of two and four. Data enthusiasts were unaware of the scholarly research assignments. Rehabilitation applications provided breakfast and lunch to all program attendees routinely.
